In the town where we live we have something called Christmas in the Park. It is a really cool drive thru Christmas Light display. Today, Turkey told the boys that we were going to look at those lights! In order for the kids to find him however, he sent them on a fun scavenger hunt throughout the house that eventually lead to the car.

The scavenger hunt was really fun. I had no idea how much the kids would enjoy it! Turkey sent them all over the house!
Here are all the clues in case you want to send your littles on a hunt of your own! You can actually put these clues in any order you want all over your house. They are all here for you to do as you wish.
DAY 8 - CANDY CANE SCAVENGER HUNT
Today Turkey sent the boys on another scavenger hunt, but this time it was for Candy Canes! I printed off the Legend of the Candy Cane poem from Happy Home Fairy and put it next to Turkey. I like to use the mini candy canes so that they are not on too much of a sugar high.
And here is the card that Turkey used to tell the kids what to do.
DAY 9 - NUTCRACKER DAY
I may have little boys, but they still enjoy the Nutcracker. They love the fighting and the marching and sometimes can enjoy the dancing. They really like it when the men do all the turns and flips. I want to instill the arts into my children as well. I think it will make them incredibly well rounded. This year we got tickets to go see the Nutcracker. We spent the weeks leading up to it by playing all the music, watching YouTube videos and all that fun. So the day finally arrived and Turkey wanted to make sure to let the boys know that we were going to the ballet!
